Madison offers excellent educational facilities at the elementary, junior high and senior high school levels. Madison’s public and private schools continue to perform above the national average. All of Madison’s public schools are members of the Madison County School District.
If you prefer to explore new subjects on your own, Madison’s Rebecca Baine Rigby Library is an excellent place to start. The library’s extensive collection of fiction and reference books tops twenty thousand volumes. The library also features a music collection on compact disc, video tapes, and audio books, and has recently added Internet access to its list of services—all the materials you need to keep your days filled and your mind occupied.

Madison Ridgeland Academy students score well above the national average on achievement tests, ACT scores and the SAT.·
St. Joseph’s High School The addition of this educational facility has further enhanced the school system in Madison.
